DAVID SIEMER
President & Managing Director
Mr. Siemer was previously with Montgomery & Co. where he served as a key member of the Digital Media Investment Banking Group. At Montgomery, Mr. Siemer led sales to major media companies such as News Corp, Sony, Hearst, Viacom and Disney, and managed private investments from tier one venture capital and hedge fund firms. Prior to his work with Montgomery, Mr. Siemer spent eight years at Desco Corporation in several capacities. In 1997, Mr. Siemer joined Desco Capital Partners, where he managed all facets of investments such as Total Control Products, sold to GE; Conquest Communications, sold to SmarTalk (now a division of AT&T); and Enact Software, sold to Sage SalesLogix. In 2000, Mr. Siemer’s role was expanded as he joined the business development group and then again in 2003 when Mr. Siemer was appointed to Director of Operations of Marsh Bellofram Instrumentation. Mr. Siemer received his MBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, graduating with high honors. He completed his undergraduate work at Lehigh University with degrees in Management Information Systems and Accounting. Mr. Siemer is a General Securities Principal licensed with FINRA/SIPC (formerly NASD).

Ivan Nikkhoo
Managing Director
With over 26 years of industry experience in various senior capacities nationally and internationally, Mr. Nikkhoo is a Managing Director at Siemer & Associates. Prior to Siemer, Ivan was the Head of the Technology Practice at Barrington Associates, a division of Well Fargo Securities, focusing on advising emerging technology companies. Prior to WFS/Barrington, he served as the Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for N3 Technology Fund, a long/short hedge fund co-managed with Dalton Investments. Prior to N3, he was the General Manager & Executive VP at SOA Software, responsible for mergers, acquisitions, investments, strategic alliances, and joint ventures. Prior to SOA Software, Ivan was the President of Vertex Systems focused on technology strategy, implementation, and IP monetization. Prior to Vertex, he was the Director of European Operations for TLD Systems in Paris, France, providing software for European space and military projects.
Ivan is a member of Young Presidents' Organization and is very active in the tech community. He was a finalist at the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Award and serves on the boards of a number of charity and business organizations including the LA Chamber of Commerce, USC Marshall Partners, Junior Achievement of Southern California, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is a frequent guest lecturer at the USC Marshall School of Business and has been featured in numerous publications including Fortune Magazine, Los Angeles Times and the Los Angeles Business Journal. Mr. Nikkhoo is also a partner at a venture fund focused on investing in emerging technology companies, and serves on the boards of several technology companies.
Mr. Nikkhoo received his MBA from USC Marshall School of Business and his Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering from McGill University in Montreal. He is a General Securities Principal licensed with FINRA/SIPC (formerly NASD).

Charles Woo
Director
Mr. Woo was previously with Silver Point Capital, a $9.5 billion hedge fund, where he was responsible for the origination and structuring of investments in private middle market companies. Prior to Silver Point, Mr. Woo was a senior investment banker in the Technology, Media & Telecom group at Citigroup where he was focused on M&A and financings for technology and financial sponsor clients. Amongst his accomplishments, Mr. Woo helped lead the investment bank's storage technology franchise into becoming one of the top advisory firms on Wall Street. Mr. Woo has advised in M&A and financing transactions totaling over $50 billion of enterprise value for clients including: United Online, Western Digital, NYNEX (now Verizon), DirecTV Latin America, Primedia Publishing, CompuCom, Acument Global Technologies, Viant Holdings and Horizon Cellular.
Mr. Woo began his career in 1995 with Morgan Stanley in New York where he was in the Media & Telecom M&A Group. He was also an analyst with Thomas H. Lee Partners in Boston as one of its nineteen investment professionals managing its $3.4 billion fund and a founding principal of middle market private equity firm Pasadena Capital Partners. Mr. Woo is a graduate of Harvard College with an AB in Government and also attended Harvard Business School. Mr. Woo is a General Securities Principal licensed with FINRA/SIPC (formerly NASD).

Jonathan Roth
Director
Mr. Roth was previously a Senior Vice President at Cascadia Capital where he managed and executed M&A and private placement transactions. Mr. Roth advised numerous technology companies including; Picnik, sold to Google, Umbria Communications, sold to J.D. Power and Associates (McGraw-Hill division) and Shelfari, sold to Amazon.com, Inc., among others. Prior to joining Cascadia Capital, Mr. Roth was a senior banker with DeSilva & Phillips, where he specialized in traditional and Digital Media companies. While at DeSilva and Phillips, Mr. Roth advised on numerous sell-side M&A and private placement transactions including: Austin Ventures investment into All Star Directories, FranchiseGator, sold to aQuantive, IEG, sold to WPP and Mediabistro, sold to WebMediaBrands, Inc. Prior to investment banking, Mr. Roth was a C-level leader and co-founder of two venture-backed Internet companies. Mr. Roth holds a B.A from Columbia College and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. Mr. Roth is a General Securities Principal licensed with FINRA/SIPC (formerly NASD).

CHAD GARDINER
Vice President
Mr. Gardiner was previously a Vice President at New Century Capital Partners where he focused on raising capital and advising on mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Gardiner has raised private and public capital and provided mergers and acquisitions advice for both public and private businesses in the technology and digital media sectors. Mr. Gardiner has advised on numerous sell-side and buy-side merger transactions, including: the $1.6 billion sale of Digital Insight to Intuit, Ad.Venture Partners' acquisition of 180 Connect for $158 million, and Providea Solutions' recapitalization by WestView Capital Partners. Prior to New Century Capital Partners, Mr. Gardiner was an associate at Yucaipa Companies, a private equity firm in Los Angeles, where he was responsible for managing the due diligence processes for targeted investments. Mr. Gardiner assisted in making the first acquisition for the Yucaipa Global Fund, a billion dollar fund, and prepared an investment presentation for President Clinton and the Dubai Investment Group. Mr. Gardiner previously worked at Deutsche Bank, CIBC World Markets and Merrill Lynch, where he completed private placements and mergers and acquisitions. MAURICE MIZRAHI
Associate
Mr. Mizrahi was previously with Wachovia Securities in their gaming & lodging practice where he focused on leveraged buyouts and capital raising for various large to mid-capital gaming companies. Prior to working at Wachovia Securities, Mr. Mizrahi also worked at Citigroup – London, Merrill Lynch and Bear Stearns. Before entering the investment banking field, he assisted an internet start up company called Movieflix.com, which was one of the first streaming video websites. Mr. Mizrahi graduated cum laude with a B.S. from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California with a concentration in Finance and a certificate in interactive entertainment production and design. |

Garrett Taylor

Mr. Taylor was previously with ORIX Venture Finance, where he focused on providing capital to venture companies in the technology sector. Prior to working at ORIX Venture Finance, Mr. Taylor worked at Houlihan Lokey in its Financial Advisory Services group, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and additional advisory engagements. He has also worked at Marshall & Stevens, Morgan Stanley and Citigroup. Mr. Taylor graduated with a B.S. from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California with a concentration in Finance. Mr. Taylor is currently a Level 2 candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst program and is a Registered General Securities Representative (Series 79, 63 and 7 licenses) with FINRA/SIPC (formerly NASD). |

Richard Kim
Analyst
Mr. Kim was previously with Hadley Partners, a boutique investment bank, where he focused on leveraged buyouts and capital raises for various media services companies in the middle market. At Hadley Partners, Mr. Kim had dealt with both public and private sector companies in media such as Ascent Media and PostWorks. Prior to working at Hadley Partners, Mr. Kim worked at Morgan Stanley and served in the United States Navy serving two deployments to the Persian Gulf for Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Mr. Kim graduated with a B.S. from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California with a concentration in Finance. |

Michael Mizrahi
Analyst
Mr. Mizrahi was previously with Eastman Consultants, a company he founded, which focused on start-ups and distressed companies. At Eastman Consultants, Mr. Mizrahi worked closely with entrepreneurs on creating and implementing marketing plans, sales initiatives and cost savings program for their firm. Prior to working at Eastman Consultants, Mr. Mizrahi worked at Trinad Capital Management; a $250 million hedge fund focused on technology, entertainment and industries. Mr. Mizrahi graduated with a B.S. from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and a certificate in interactive entertainment production and design. |
